COVID-19 Vaccine Update
We have today been provided with the following update by Dr Aluvihare and Wendy Littlejohn at Kings:
“The recommendation is that you receive a third primary dose three months after your second dose. In addition a booster (with Pfizer or Moderna) should be given three months after completion of your primary course (three primary doses). In practice, however, this may mean you are offered a booster before your third primary dose and if offered the booster we recommend you should proceed with this.
In exceptional circumstances your clinical team may decide that you should not receive either a third primary dose or booster, but this will largely be in the inpatient setting.”
